Sketches

Fig 5
Sketch 1
The factory underneath is the stove, the earth is the pot, and the polar bear cooking in it represents that humans are destroying the quality of the weather.

Fig 6
Sketch 2
It is a BBQ and the background is the factories are polluting the smoke, everything that the human do is cause climate action.

Fig 7
Sketch 3
Hourglass, with the city on top and the factory on the bottom. It has similarities to the first sketch. Because the heat from the factory below is causing the city above to melt, indicating that if humans stop taking action, they will pay the price.

Fig 8
Sketch 4
The Earth is sicked but it go to a clinic that organized by the human. The human try to destroy the Earth.

Evolution of  Earth in clinic

Earth in clinic

From the above four artworks, I chose this one after Ms. JINCHI suggestion and my own consideration.  From the old design and the new design, I reduced the objects in the design so that the whole thing is not too cluttered.

Visual Analysis

Fig 14

Observation
In the design above can see a character personifying the earth and going to a clinic because he is sick. The "Earthlings" are the center of the composition and are prominently positioned in the foreground, so when looking at this artwork the focus is directly on the "Earthlings". He was hunched over, coughing, and had a tired look on his face that suggested he was unwell or sick. Judging from the black medical logo on the clinic carpet, the "Earthlings" mistakenly entered an illegal clinic. The area around this clinic is dark instead of the usual clinic colors we see. It is obvious that the "earth people" went to an informal clinic to see a doctor.

Analysis
The first thing can see in this artwork is the use of emphasis to draw attention to the central theme – climate action. Additionally, the use of contrast is evident in the juxtaposition of "Earthlings" with their surroundings, highlighting the contrast between natural and man-made environments. In addition, when seeing this design, our eyes will first see the bright earth because the surrounding environment is mainly dark, which represents the informality of the clinic. The unity of the composition is achieved through the close arrangement of elements such as the cigarette butts on the ground, the broken window and the N word of the CLINIC that seems to fall down, where the earth is the focal point of the surroundings. In addition, there is the design principle - the use of movement. I convey the feeling of movement through the poses and expressions of the "earthlings" and the direction of the smoke.

Interpretation
This design delves into the complex relationship between the current state of the planet and its impact on our human health. A profound design theme for this important message. I do this by describing Earth as a fragile character who is visiting an illegal clinic because he is ill. This design reinforces that although we humans have realized that the damage to the earth has been inflicted and is intensifying, we humans have intensified our efforts to destroy it. Although today's society is beginning to wake up, the speed of destruction is far faster than we imagined. Anthropomorphism emphasizes that our planet is just as fragile as we humans are, and serves as a poignant reminder of the serious consequences our actions have on the health of our planet.

Furthermore, the continued destruction of the planet symbolizes our human still destroyed the planet by different kinds of way.It serves as a metaphor for the urgent need to address environmental issues and combat climate change, while posing very significant threats to ecosystems and human health.

The juxtaposition of the natural world, represented by "Earthlings," and the setting of the illegal clinic highlights the stark contrast between human activity and the health of the planet. This dissonance prompts us humans to think about our role in promoting environmental stewardship and adopting sustainable living practices. It calls for a re-evaluation of our human relationship with the planet and encourages proactive rescue measures to protect the health of the planet for future generations.
