INSTRUCTION


Process

When the prototype was working which is the AR map experiential, I added multiple 3D attractions in Unity to make the experiential more interesting but cannot import too much 3D model. I had imported more 3D model before but when reopen the project, all of the 3D model will disappear or some materials had missing.


AR SCENE

For AR scene, I created a Canvas and  added a panel then added a back button and text in the panel.
For the back button can be click and back to Discover scene.

After that I created an image target that I had downloaded the image target from database(Vuforia).

Then I imported the 3D Model which is The Great Wall. Then I adjust its scale and its position so that when the camera scan the image target, the 3D model can be appear at the right position and the user can interact with it.

This is the Liberty Statue. The process is same as the previous 3D model.

After that I created a pop up description window that when the users tap the 3D model, the window will pop up. Also, I created a script that the users can rotate the 3D model.



Discover Scene

This scene is to let the user can discover the attractions around the world. I also added a scan button at the bottom that can navigate to AR scene.


Onboarding Scene

This is the onboarding scene, it will show the AR app name and its description so that the users can easily understand what the app used for. Also, I had added the start button and can be navigate to Discover Scene.



Import to Phone

IOS Issue

Since the laptop I used is Windows and the phone I used is IOS so I followed the steps that can build the apk file from Windows to IOS but there's an technical issue which is I had installed the VMWare and when I login my apple account, its showed my apple id or password is incorrect. I had tried several ways, create a new apple account, changed the password multiple times, it is still not working. 

I had successful to install VMWare and Xcode around 3 times but when the Xcode almost installed, it showed there have some issue or problems so cannot install Xcode. I had searched a lots of ways to solve the problems but every ways are failed.

Errors
When I started to build my project, it always failed. I had found some ways to solve the problem but it is still failed to build the project so that I cannot test on my phone. 

For the last method to solve it is to recreate a project and redo the project again. Luckily it builds the project successfully.

It should be like this when I show on the phone but maybe my phone and system are old and slow, it cannot show it. It had successful showed 2 and 3 times before.
