IINSTRUCTION

Project 1 Audio Dubbing

After briefing the project 1 audio dubbing, I went to search the original movie-Munich which is 2005 film and listened to the sounds in the movie to do some research.

After that I download the video(Munich) but no any sounds inside that already given by .


Process 

After I review the video, I recorded the dialogue that appeared in video. Below is the sounds recorded and I transferred to my laptop to import into the  video.

I also found some ambience sounds that will appear in the video. The sounds that I found is from the website that provided and some sounds I found from the YOUTUBE.

Edit in Premier Pro

After I downloaded all the sounds, I import the video and start to edit it.

The sound  track I divided into three. The are dialogue, ambience sounds and some very subtle audios.
Around 04:17 is the car door open sound so I make the audio volume a little bigger to highlight it.

In every indoor scene can listen a sound very subtle, I called that indoor sound (something like aircon sound), the sound volume I made it almost inaudible sound.

For the dialogue in this scene is a man and a little girl. The semitone of the man is -3 and the cent is 50
and the girl is 6 and 56. The volume of the sounds are small because they are far away from shot.

The sound 'hello' in this scene is come from telephone so the semitone and cent is 3 and 63.

The semitone and cent of the scenes that this two man appear is 1 and 0 and the man wearing a hat is -2 and 0.

There are several minor adjustments in the audio track such as reduce the noise of audios.

Reflection 

Before starting to edit this project, I am a bit of worried because I think it is difficult but after I started editing, it is interesting for me although I still have lots of skills have to learn. In this assignment, I think adjust the audios quite difficult because I need to listen very carefully and the audio dubbing has to in same time with the caption. Finding the ambience sounds also difficult because if cannot find from the Internet, I have to record from the reality. In conclusion , it is a fun experience to edit the video and I hope that I can learn more experience from  editing video.
