Fig 1
First I created 3 artboards followed by the instruction.

Fig 2 Act - Setup

For the first artboard, the sky is orange colour because the story said that they sailing in the morning and can see I also drew the sun rise.Then there has 2 seagulls in the sky. After that I drew a sailboat with 3 men sailing.

Fig 3 Act - Conflict

The second artboard is the climax so I change the colour of sky to grey and there have some cloud and lightning because they face the whirlpool and get involve it so can see there has a dividing line in the middle of sea. I also drew wave to express the situation is bad.There have 2 hands like call for help.That is because the story told us there have 2 men died in the whirlpool.

For the last artboard can see that a man survived and that man is the one who tells the story to the narrator.The sun is with a cloud because the disaster（whirlpool）just over and the man lying on the barrel.
